Shoppers and workers were rushed from the downtown mall this afternoon as a large fire broke out in the interior of the building. Firefighters arrived on the scene at approximately 2:45 PM to find flames {consuming|raging|spreading rapidly through a section of the mall dedicated to clothing stores.
